Meet the Founder
I am Mohamed Khalil, the founder of Dicom 2 PNG and a practicing Radiology Technologist.
As a professional working directly with medical imaging systems, I have spent years experiencing firsthand the communication gap between the complex DICOM format used in our clinical work and the simple, standard images needed for presentations, research, and patient education.
I created this platform to solve a problem I faced every day: the need for a fast, secure, and reliable way to handle DICOM files, while also providing a hub of expert-driven education. This project is the intersection of my passion for medical imaging and my dedication to creating practical solutions for my colleagues, students, and patients.

The goal of this blog is to be a comprehensive, trustworthy resource for the medical imaging community. Our mission is built on two core pillars:
